Avelia serves as the Diversity and Inclusion Lead at Western Financial Group. As the D&I Lead, she is responsible for guiding and scaling Western’s D&I strategy and initiatives. Since joining Western last year, Avelia has been focused on executing key areas of the D&I roadmap.
Throughout her career, Avelia has been intentional about creating opportunities for more diverse representation and inclusion. She consistently pitches the benefits of engaging corporate cultures relative to D&I. She has over 12 years of HR experience, providing consultation to leaders, shaping teams, and designing programs in organizations.
